The definition of backlinks
I don't know how many times I have written about the meaning of backlinks until I get bored wanting to write again. The point is that a backlink is a backlink, an active link found on other people's websites that leads directly to our blog site.
Backlinks are important, if a blog is likened to a house then backlinks are likened to the foundation, so the main function of backlinks is to help strengthen the blog's position on search engine SERP pages (search engine result pages).
Because backlinks are the foundation, these links must be built with good quality, just imagine if all the backlinks that point to your blog's sitemoney come from sites with a low reputation or not even indexed by Google your house might collapse hehe
Types of backlinks based on their attributes:
1. Dofollow links
Where this type of link will later be crawled and crawled by the Google search engine robot, for example, when I put an active link in an article on a news site, for example, hipwee with the dofollow attribute, then when a search robot crawls the hipwee site, the bot automatically follows the link to my blog.
2. Nofollow links
For example, I make all the links contained in that person's blog comments attribute nofollow, no matter how much you spam in blog comments, the bot crawl will automatically ignore the link so your actions are in vain
